I’ve written before about useful small business marketing resources for owners who want to learn more about best practices online. I’ve come across some others in my research that I wanted to share.
1) Small Business Trends – The site has a collection of useful guides and posts on a range of relevant issues for small business owners. The site reviews books about entrepreneurship and business ownership, provides recent news, and offers insights into financial issues, management, and internet marketing. The site also groups its articles by subject and author, so it’s very easy to navigate quickly to information that is important for your particular business.
2) Small Business Ideas Forum – This is an active forum that hosts a range of discussions on topics of interest for small business owners. The “threads” (discussion topics that get updated) offer insight into subjects like search engine optimization, offline advertising, and general small business issues. The site also contains areas for networking and meeting other leaders.
3) Yahoo! Small Business News and Resources – Yahoo! may have lost the search battle with Google and Microsoft, but the section for business owners is still very useful. The site aggregates news across a range of industries, making it more likely that you will find a helpful link for your operations.
I hope these sites are helpful to you as you stay informed about the latest tactics and trends for your specific small business.
