Favorite Blogs
Olivier Blanchard's "The BrandBuilder Blog". Olivier Blanchard mixes short posts and vlogs with in-depth analyses of social media and brand management related to office and business politics. Blanchard is very candid in his observations and has years of experience to back them up. (ex: "Thoughts on the Sorry State of Social Media Conferences.")
"Seth Godin's Blog". Often more philosophical than actionable, Seth Godin provides daily posts on the state of marketing as it relates to social media. Many posts hover in the 150-300 word range, making this a quick, daily read.
David Armano's "Logic + Emotion". I first heard David Armano speak at the 2009 BlogWorld and Social Media Expo and was drawn to his ability to incorporate compelling visuals with his presentation. His blog is no different. Using custom graphics, designs, and flowcharts to clarify trends and concepts in social media, Armano provides a comprehensive look into what he calls the intersection of business, design, and the social web.
