Background

Drew's career has been driven by the repeated application of strategic, executional and analytical tools to accelerate growth. As a Harvard Business School Leadership Fellow Drew served as Director of Strategy at Teach for America, a national corps dedicated to eliminating educational inequity by enlisting the nation's most promising future leaders, where he helped shape the direction of one of the nation's fastest growing social ventures. Prior to Teach For America, Drew executed investments at Primus Capital Funds, a growth oriented private equity firm. While there, Drew executed the firm’s largest investment and assisted that portfolio company in achieving record revenue and profitability growth through accelerated deployment of a new product. While at Primus Drew also served as a Director on the Board of Focus Receivables Management, a rapidly-growing Georgia-based receivables management firm. Drew was the youngest Primus employee to have served as a portfolio company Director. Prior to Primus, Drew was an investment banking analyst at CIBC World Markets, where he completed nearly 20 transactions with a combined value exceeding $2 billion, propelling the group to record revenues. Drew has also assisted with the strategic direction of Rocky Mountain Capital, a startup investment management firm founded by Coleman Andrews, a co-founder of Bain Capital.

Education

Drew holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with distinction (Ford Scholar), and a B.A., cum laude, from Claremont McKenna College, where he was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
