Where We Work
In July 2010 our quickly growing crew of shipmates moved into a historic preservation site and certified green building in the heart of downtown Raleigh. More than 60% of the interior is preserved from the original building, which was built sometime between 1870 and 1920. Random trivia: The interior office walls are covered in NovaCork, a material made from recycled paper. In other words, we are actively preserving history while embracing technology.
Our building is located across the street from the Raleigh bus station on East Hargett Street. Shipmates have countless restaurants to choose from during their lunch hour, or they can choose to eat their lunch in our spacious kitchen, also known as the galley of our ship. There shipmates will always find a economy sized bag of M&Ms in the fridge and a fresh pot of coffee in the carafe. Not to mention we always keep the fridge stocked with soft drinks to enjoy before 5pm and beer to enjoy for those who put in the long hours.
Numerous walls throughout our office are filled with Post-It notes, including our wall of values where we highlight those who are living by Three Ships core values. Peruse the photo gallery below to learn more about us and our work environment.
