Accountability

Benefit from rigorous accountability through analytics

Many traditional agencies “make it up as they go along.” With a straight hourly billing model – why not? Senior executives appreciate input, but they value results. We invest heavily in continuous improvement initiatives that lead to results.

Our operational model is a reaction to the lack of rigor that permeates a new industry that still behaves like it’s the Wild, Wild West. There is real accountability for results on a factory floor or a salesforce. Similarly, a tight process of linking activities to outcomes measurably improves performance.

Three Ships Media Operational System

  • Quality Management. It’s easy for an analyst to get lost in the weeds of AdWords. Our quality management initiative relies upon a series of internal workflow documents to ensure that we deliver high quality work which quickly finds and addresses errors, monitors ongoing experiments, and feeds data up to senior operational leaders.
  • Right People Doing the Right Things. Productivity comes through specialization, yet innovation comes through collaboration. We balance these imperatives by staffing each digital services team with dedicated experts yet ensuring they convene regularly with digital generalists from the Solutions Management group who have a holistic perspective on clients’ business challenges.
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Rhythm. Structure sets you free. By having an ongoing series of collaborative sessions that cover strategic insights to tactical reporting, we ensure that each account receives the right mix of attention from the appropriate executive, management, and operational individuals at Three Ships Media.
  • Test, Analyze, Repeat. We view each activity (advertising expenditure, content piece, etc.) as an experiment. While a dedicated analytics function can conduct deep-dive analysis, each group evaluates the success of their activities on an ongoing basis.
